WELCOME to Ransomville United Methodist Church
MISSION STATEMENT: To be servants, disciples and leaders in sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Sunday October 18, 2020
Sermon Reading: Exodus 33:12-23 “But, ‘he said, ‘you cannot see my face; for no one shall see me and live.'”(20)
Sermon Title: More than you can handle…without Jesus.
Sermon Theme: Because of sin, we have been alienated from God to the point where we can no longer stand in his full presence without the grace and atonement offered by Jesus Christ. The good news is that we don’t need to fear, God wants us in his presence. Not only that, he is working this very moment through the Holy Spirit to prepare us to be with him.
Prayer: Almighty and everlasting God, in Christ you have revealed your glory among the nations: Preserve the works of your mercy, that your Church throughout the world may persevere with steadfast faith in the confession of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
